1. Covid Warriors Assam
"Covid Warriors Assam" was a collaborative, volunteer-led initiative launched in August 2020 by HELP EARTH, THE INSIDE OUT, and Midway Journey in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Aimed at providing critical support across Assam, the project connected plasma donors with patients in need and curated vital information on food delivery, ambulance services, mental health support, and home testing—particularly in Guwahati. With a team of over 20 volunteers, the initiative reached more than 10,000 individuals during the crisis. Though it emerged as a rapid response to the pandemic, it showcased the power of collective action and community resilience.
2. Save Sola Beel
The "Save Sola Beel" initiative was an awareness campaign by HELP EARTH, focused on protecting the Sarusola and Barsola wetlands in central Guwahati, Assam. These ecologically significant urban wetlands, once teeming with biodiversity, have suffered from degradation and encroachment. The initiative uses art, community engagement, and education to raise awareness about their vital role as natural stormwater reservoirs and groundwater recharge zones—critical for preventing flash floods and water shortages in the city. Though the project began as a public campaign, it remains an open cause, encouraging continued support and action for wetland conservation.
